Our Volunteers up late/early to help load the van with dogs destined for salvation in the form of adoption by wonderful familys all over the country.

The cost to transport our dogs is constantly going up. The last transport to PA including gas and tolls cost over $650.00 .

Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

Thanks to all who bought tickets and make our spaghettie fundraiser a great success!

Thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard helping to put things together. We could not have done this with out you all! From the volunteers at the fire station to the people who created the delicious dinner platters to the ticket sellers.

Maggie sincerely appreciates everything you do in her name

Here is our newest boy that is need of our help. His name is Glennon after one of our favorite local vets, Dr. Maria Glennon who does so much for the dogs of The Maggie Society.

He is pictured here with his foster, Pam Hensley.

Glennon is around seven weeks old and suffers from a leg that was broken when he was two weeks old. He did not receive the medical care he needed so the leg has healed poorly.

All efforts will be made to save the leg, but this will take time, TLC and money. We appreciate donations of any amount to help this little guy get the help he needs!​

Due to the recent needs in the community, our funds have been depleted and we have to raise the money ourselves to vet, board, and transport these dogs. If you feel called to donate to the treatment of a "Maggie Dog" please call Laurie at Brentwood Vet (252) 292-6305 and give what you can.
We are also selling our Spring t-shirts, designed by a local artist, to offset some of the rescue costs we have recently incurred. These Gildan cotton shirts are available for purchase in all sizes. Please email info@maggiesociety.org for purchasing information. All shirts are $25.00 with XL and XXL sizes costing an additional $2.00. all proceeds go directly into helping The Maggie Society to keep saving the lives of dogs in need.
